My week so far: Back in the game
This week I feel "back in the game".
I've been waking up before 5am each day, stacking wins, and getting shit done (my favorite).
I'm doing a challenge with the community - get out of bed by 5am each day in February.
If you'd like to join us it's happening in The Activation Collective (link at the bottom of this email).
Crazy to think it's already February of 2025 haha!
Balancing patience with urgency is key.
How’s your week going?
What I am working on
In my personal life: Half marathon training, and daily studies.
I signed up for a half marathon on February 16th. It was time to dial in my fitness, and do something that aligns me more with my new identity: hybrid athlete.
Bodybuilding is comfortable to fall back into. But, it's not going to be the reason I complete a long spartan race or win a jiu jitsu competition.
Time to evolve.
Secondly, I began doing 1 hour or more per day of studies.
I once heard: "education without implementation is masturbation."
Learning a lot, AND applying what I learn.
In my professional life: I got going, now it's time to get good.
I’ve been consistent:
- Posting content daily.
- Working with my clients.
- Building new skills.
- Making money.
Now my focus is on leveling up the quality, as I keep up the quantity.
I’m all in, and it’s only a matter of time before things take off even more.
In my financial life: Falling in love with financial literacy.
I decided to make money one of the topics I talk about moving forwards.
I’m already documenting my process to:
- Pay off all consumer debt.
- Build another multiple 6 figure business.
- Invest in income producing assets.
May as well share what I am learning, and fall in love with it!
So far I’ve learned a lot:
- Profit 1st for business - Take a % upfront of any income generated, and set it aside for profit.
- Automating finances - Installed a system to split any income I generate. Now the minute I make money, it’s saved and transferred to different accounts.
- Live lean - Always ask “how can I live on less?”. Cut unnecessary expenses, negotiate with service providers, and save as much as possible.
Reply and let me know what you are working on this week!
Weekly win and miss
My win: Stepped back into my power.
Each day is an opportunity to be out of my comfort zone, and face my fears.
What I am doing is terrifying, not going to lie.
But, it's my calling so I can't chicken out lol.
Back in a winning mentality, and ready to put my head down again.
My miss: I can't be a lazy stoner (again).
In my past life I was a total pothead.
It's easy for me to fall back into that pattern.
I'd be lying if I said I don't love weed... but it doesn't benefit me in my day to day life.
When used as a medicine, and occasionally - it's awesome.
If used as a crutch - it's not.
At least for who I need to show up as in my life.
Guru from the 90's rap group Gang Starr said it best:
"Dark clouds over my head, my heart's racing
Suicide? Nah, I'm not a foolish guy
Don't even feel like drinkin' or even gettin' high'
Cause all that's gonna do really, is accelerate–The anxieties that I wish I could alleviate
But, wait – I've been through a whole lot of other shit before
So, I oughta be able to withstand some more..."
You can listen to the song here if you'd like.
